APPSC Group 2 Prelims held today, Chairman asks candidates not to fall for postponement rumours of Group 1 exam

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducted the Group 2 Preliminary Examination 2024 on Sunday. The exam, held from 10.30 am to 1 pm, has been conducted for a total of 899 posts.
According to the HT Telegu, as many as 4.63 lakh candidates appeared for the exams in 1,327 centres across the state, under the supervision of APPSC Chairman Gautam Sawang. While there have been no reports of any malpractice in the conduct of the exam, an individual was detained in Chittoor for allegedly entering a center with a fake hall ticket, as informed by Sawang.
Notably, the result of the APPSC Group-2 preliminary exam is expected to be out between June and July.
Meanwhile, the APPSC Chairman has asked candidates to not get carried away by rumours of postponement of the Group-1 examination. As per HT Telegu, Sawang assured that there is no possibility of a postponement of examinations, and added that the Group-1 exam will be held on March 17.
