CBSE 10th Result 2019 declared HIGHLIGHTS: ‘Proud of my young friends’ PM Modi congratulates students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the result of Class 10th result on May 6 at 3pm. Around 18 lakh candidates are anxiously waiting for their class 10th result. Candidates can check their result online at the official website of CBSE at cbse.nic.in.A total of 91.1% students have passed the exam.16,04,428 students successfully cleared the exam out of the 17,61,078 candidates who had appeared.13 students have bagged AIR-1 by scoring 499/500. Check full topper list here.Siddhant Pengoriya, Divyansh Wadhwa, Ankur Mishra, Vatsal Varshney, Isha Madan, Apoorva Jain, Shivani Lath from Dehradun, Yogesh Kumar Gupta from Prayagraj, Manya and Divjot Kaur Jaggi from Panchkula, Aryan Jha and Taru Jain from Ajmer Bhavana N Sivadas from Thiruvananthapuram topped the list of CBSE each of them scoring 499 marks out of 500.CBSE has already declared the Class 12th board exam result on May 2, 2019. Over 12 lakh candidates had appeared for the CBSE 12th board exam out of which 83.4% aspirants passed the exam , marginally better than the 83.01 of 2018. As in previous years, girls outdid the boys, grabbing top seven positions. CBSE had conducted the class 10th examination from February 21 to March 29. A total of 18, 27, 472 candidates were registered for the exam.According to an official press release, a total of 40, 296 candidates appeared from 98 exam centres in outside India. Out of them, 20, 077 were male candidates and 20, 219 were female candidates while 197 were candidates with special needs.The highest number of candidates who registered for Class 10, Class 12 exams and overall were from Delhi. According to the statistics released by the board, 5,69,696 candidates had registered for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from Delhi. This year maximum female candidates (2,72,271) appeared from Delhi and the maximum male candidates (3,38,613) appeared from Uttar Pradesh (UP).

Pass percentage of candidates in foreign school is 98.75

Out of the 23494 candidates in foreign school, 98.75% students passed. This means, 23200 students cleared the exam.

Prakash Javadekar praises CBSE for glitch-free exam

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar praised CBSE for conducting “glitch-free and hassle-free” examination. He said: “There was not a single report of leakage of exam papers. This is how CBSE has conducted the examination and improved over the years. Papers were leaked by some vested interest the last time. The accused is now serving the sentence,” he said.
