CAT 2016: Admit card released, download them here

The admit cards for Common Admission Test (CAT 2016), which is being conducted by IIM Bangalore this year, were released on Monday.

The entrance test for admission to Indian Institutes of Management and other leading B-schools in the country is scheduled to be held on December 4.

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of CAT 2016

Steps to download the admit card:

1) Go to the official website

2) Click on the ‘Existing User’ button to go to the login page

3) Key in user id and password and click on login

4) Admit card will appear on the screen

5) Take a printout of the admit card and save it on your computer

The admit card will have candidates’ name and other necessary details, user id, test venue and test timing. Please check whether the details on the card are correct. Candidates are required to bring their admit card to the test venue.

The exam will be held in two sessions on one day across 138 cities.

Registrations for the CAT exam hit a seven-year high this time, with 2,32,434 applications received. Last year 2,18,664 candidates had registered for the test.

The deadline for submitting the application form for this year’s examination was extended by five days and closed on September 27.
