BJP MLA Rajkumar Thukral ‘caught’ abusing toll plaza staff

BJP MLA Rajkumar Thukral was accused of threatening and abusing a toll plaza staff near Kichha in US Nagar district.

In a video circulated on the social media on Sunday, the Rudrapur MLA was purportedly seen abusing the toll plaza employee and daring to come out of his office.

Police sources said the MLA and his supporters also tried to meddle with a police team that reached the spot to resolve issue. Till the filing of this report, no complaint was filed in this connection.

The MLA was in news a month ago for allegedly roughing a woman, who had come to him to resolve a matter. In a video, Thukral was purportedly seen furiously pushing and beating the woman.

The video had sparked a row with opposition parties seeking stern action against Thukral. They had also burnt his effigies in several places. Thukral had termed the allegations baseless. “It is a conspiracy by the Congress to malign me,” he had said.
