‘Yes, it’s true’: Yuvraj, Hazel announce engagement on Twitter

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh officially announced his engagement to actor Hazel Keech on social networking site Twitter on Sunday evening, saying he has found a “friend for life”.

He also added that he “will not be giving any interview or comments any further” as he is in the middle of an important season and would like to focus on that.

According to reports, the 33-year-old cricketer got engaged in a private ceremony in Bali on Wednesday.

His fiancee Hazel Keech tweeted in response soon after Yuvraj’s public announcement.

Hazel, who is a British actor and model, started her film career with Tamil film Billa (2007) and entered Bollywood with Salman Khan-starrer Bodyguard (2011). The 28-year-old later participated in the reality show Bigg Boss in 2013, but was voted out.

Yuvraj, who has made headlines for dating Bollywood actors, had previously hinted at his engagement during a conversation with cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who married actor Geeta Basra last month.

After Yuvraj’s announcement on Sunday, Harbhajan put the ball in pacer Zaheer Khan’s court by tweeting: “Let’s see how many wants @ImZaheer to get married RT if you want him to get married this year or like it if next year Zak s turn now”.
