We showed that we can win from any situation: Virat Kohli after Bangalore win
Virat Kohli mocked Australia, who had hinted that Indian team was an one-man army with the India captain being the snake-head. India levelled the four-game serie 1-1 in Bangalore.
India levelled the four-Test series against Australia with an emphatic 75-run win in Bangalore. Coming after a 333-run loss in the 1st Test, India showed gumption to fight after being pushed to the corner.

This match was also one of the instances when Virat Kohli did not perform with the bat but other did. This comes after a senior member of the squad - Nathan Lyon - said that India can’t play without Kohli.
Kohli gave a fitting reply to this at the post match conference after the second test win. A look at his top five comments.
On his side’s form
Obviously, when you play so much Test cricket and win so many games, you’re bound to lose a couple. But the way these guys bounced back in this one, they showed the intent, they showed the belief that from any situation we can win the game.
On Lyon’s snake jibe
And the snake didn’t fall off eventually you know, there are many more important players in the side and it was about taking responsibility to make sure we get over the line. I think today the guys showed their heart and character and with the crowd backing us, I think it was a perfect combination.
On Pujara-Rahane
After conceding the lead, I think that was a champion partnership. Over hundred runs, the only hundred run partnership in the series so far. They’re two of our best test players in the side. After being four down, the way they batted out there was absolutely pleasing to see.
On the target being just 188
Well, we would have liked anything over 200. Because on such a wicket the game cannot go on for two days, they have to play their shots but as soon as we got to 188 we spoke in the change room that we have to finish the game today.
Positive outlook
We can’t wait to go to Ranchi now. It’s one-all. We made a great comeback here and want to gain momentum and push it even further. That’s the kind of opening we needed and the team is not going to look back anymore
