Sara Tendulkar lands at the Gabba to support Team India in 3rd Test against Australia, photos spread like wildfire

India and Australia are battling it out in the all-crucial Gabba Test of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The visitors' captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first in order to exploit the overcast conditions. Australia opening batters Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney, however, saw off the new ball before rain came down hard to cut short the first session and play spoilsport.

As the play progressed on Day 1, the TV cameras picked up Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of Sachin Tendulkar, in attendance for the Gabba Test between India and Australia.

Sara Tendulkar's glimpse on television came during the 10th over of Australia's innings when the hosts were 24/0. Sara was seen seated in the stands. Behind her, one can also see former India cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan.

In the visual going viral on the internet, Sara seemed to be looking towards her phone.

On Saturday morning, Sara Tendulkar also shared a video on her Instagram Stories, in which she seemed to be making her way towards the Gabba, the venue for the third Test of the five-match series between India and Australia.

For the unversed, Shubman Gill has been linked with Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Ali Khan in the past, however, there has been no official confirmation regarding whether the cricketer is in a relationship with her or not.

India make two changes to their playing XI

The visitors made two changes to their playing XI for the Gabba Test, having lost the previous match in Adelaide. India brought in Ravindra Jadeja and Akash Deep in place of Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshit Rana.

On the other hand, Australia brought back Josh Hazlewood, leaving out pacer Scott Boland.

At the time of the toss, Rohit said, “Little bit overcast and little bit of grass, looks a bit soft as well, want to make best use of the conditions. Lots of cricket to be played, both teams have played good cricket in the last two games.”

“Big game for us here, we'll do what is expected of us. We'll play good cricket, we understand we have to capture some moments, we didn't do that in the previous game which is why we lost. It's absolutely buzzing, the guys are looking forward to the match, we're looking forward to coming out here and playing,” he added.

On the other hand, Cummins said, “Been a fantastic series so far. Happy with last week, just about everyone got into the series, been a good lead-up. Preparations have been pretty good. Early finish in Adelaide allowed us to come up here early and get settled.”

The five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy currently stands on level terms after the hosts bounced back strongly in the pink-ball Test in Adelaide.
