IPL 2018: Prithvi Shaw blasts 25-ball fifty for Delhi Daredevils in Hyderabad

Prithvi Shaw showed yet again why he is being seen as the next big thing in Indian cricket as he blasted a 25-ball half-century for Delhi Daredevils against Sunrisers Hyderabad in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 match here on Saturday. (LIVE BLOG)

On Saturday, he showed his prowess yet again as he played a chanceless knock to take DD towards a big total. They reached 60/1 in just six overs.

Shaw started his onslaught in the second over as he hit Sandeep Sharma for a clean six at long on. The spinners were not spared either as Shakib Al Hasan was at the receiving end of another six from the teenager.

However, Shaw was most destructive against Siddarth Kaul in the sixth over. He started off with a six over long off and then banged three straight fours. Shaw reached the fifty-run mark with a single off Shakib in the seventh over.

The youngster was finally dismissed by Rashid Khan for 65 when he miscued a shot and was caught by Siddarth Kaul at short third man.
