India vs England: Weather adds to Virat Kohli’s headaches ahead of Third Test
In the second Test at Lord’s, the weather played a major role with India having to bat in overcast conditions in both innings while the English team got the best of conditions and piled the agony on the Indian bowlers.
With their backs against the wall, Virat Kohli and his boys will walk into the ground for the third Test against England at Trent Bridge looking to fight back and stay alive in the five-match series. But if the weather forecast is anything to go by, the toss will once again play an important role in this game.
As has been the case in the ongoing Test series, the weather has played a pivotal role and it could well be the case once again in this game. While the sky is expected to be clear on the opening day of the Test, spells of shower is predicted right through the next four days.

Only one team in Test history has come back from losing the first two Tests to win a five-match series -- Don Bradman’s 1936-37 Ashes side, though it was playing at home. India’s best effort away from home till date has been rallying after losing the first Test to win the next two, in the 2015 series in Sri Lanka.
However, the Indian camp will be thinking more of survival. India arrived in England with high hopes the world No 1 team will embark on a new era, and dominate major rivals in their den. After losing the second Test at Lord’s by an innings and 159 runs, the visitors are demoralised and must first put up a fight.
