Residents demand action against unauthorised bus parking on Satara Road

Residents of Pune are demanding action against the unauthorised parking and halting of private and luxury buses on Satara Road, which is causing traffic chaos both in the morning and evening hours. Drivers who park buses on roads will face heavy fines, according to the deputy commissioner of police (traffic). Private buses headed to various cities across India are regularly scheduled from Pune, causing a hindrance to commuters and leading to traffic congestion. Residents and students alike are affected and demand that the traffic police take action. Private bus owners have claimed that only a few new drivers are responsible for the parking on the road.
