Representatives from 19 countries are visiting the Pune Municipal Corporation in India to learn about its solid waste management system. The PMC is considered one of the most efficient in the country and its success is being studied by delegates from countries including those in Asia and Africa. The visit has been organised by the Centre for Science and Environment and will last for five days.

Friends lost, families destroyed: Pak shelling tears through Poonch
