Atiq’s bro-in-law held for ‘sheltering’ killers of Umesh Pal

Dr Ekhlaq Ahmad, brother-in-law of jailed former MP Atiq Ahmed, has been arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police for providing shelter to the killers of Umesh Pal in Prayagraj. Dr Ekhlaq has also been charged with conspiracy and providing financial aid to the killers. Atiq?s son Asad and two other men were sheltered by Dr Ekhlaq after killing Pal, a key witness in the murder case of BSP MLA Raju Pal, in February. Meanwhile, Shahrukh, one of Asad?s aides, was also arrested with firearms and ammunition in Dhumanganj.
