Maharashtra reported 1,086 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, slightly lower than the previous day's 1,115 cases. The state's active cases now stand at 5,700, with one death reported in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra's fatality rate currently stands at 1.82%, with a total of 79,99,206 people having recovered so far, bringing the state's recovery rate to 98.11%. Meanwhile, India reported 10,158 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, with active infections rising to 44,998.
