Panel recommends separate gates, CCTVs to make DU women’s colleges safer

The measures, which include taller boundary walls, concertina wire, CCTV cameras, separate entry and exit gates and restrictions on outsiders, have been proposed following an incident in March in which men scaled a wall and allegedly molested students at Indraprastha College for Women during an annual cultural festival. The committee was also tasked with proposing ways of preventing future incidents. The university is to notify the guidelines on Monday.
