Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy victim died of haemorrhagic shock, says autopsy

A 16-year-old girl, who was murdered by her stalker in Shahbad Dairy, northwest Delhi, died of haemorrhagic shock and had her small and large intestines pierced multiple times, according to her post mortem report. The girl was killed by a 20-year-old man, identified as Sahil, who had been stalking her and who waited for her in a lane. He then approached her as she emerged from a public toilet, stabbed her multiple times with a knife and pounded her body with a stone slab, as nearby passers-by did not intervene. The entire attack was caught on CCTV.
