Man booked for tearing cop’s uniform in Haryana

: A man has been booked for allegedly tearing the uniform of a station house officer while in an inebriated condition when the latter had gone at his house after receiving a complaint from his parents in Charkhi Dadri.

Sub-inspector Raj Kumar, who is posted as an SHO at Dadri city police station, said that he had received a complaint from ward 16 resident Jai Singh that his son Jitender is beating up other family members after consuming alcohol.

“When we reached there, Jitender was thrashing his family members and we tried to console him. He then started abusing us and tore my uniform. We have booked him and started an investigation to arrest him,” the SHO added.
