Air Dining: Lofty culinary adventure becomes Punjab’s latest getaway

A hosiery manufacturer in Ludhiana has brought air dining to the city, making it the only city in Punjab, Haryana and the union territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh to offer the experience. The concept, which involves a deck with a dining table for 22 people lifted 100ft in the air by crane, was first launched in Belgium. The Ludhiana offering, which is suspended for 50 minutes and rotated five times to give diners a 360-degree view of the city, attracts customers from across the state and beyond, including Indian expats booking it for their families.
