According to the BJP, Darshan will campaign for the BJP candidates in Kolar and Bengaluru rural districts. He will tour across Bangarpet, Malur, Hoskote, Vijayapura, Doddaballapur and Devanahalli constituencies. Darshan will also address the public in a few constituencies. The BJP is expecting that the actor’s presence will boost the cadre’s spirit, ahead of crucial elections.
Kichcha Sudeep has already started campaigning for the BJP and he is likely to tour more constituencies. Speaking at Shiggon last week, from where CM Bommai is contesting the polls, Sudeep said, “I am here today to support my Bommai mama(uncle). Within a short span of time as a CM, he has contributed a lot to the development of Karnataka. He is not a 'naam ke vaaste' CM but he is sure a 'kaam ke vaaste' CM and I will always be there for him."
The polling for Karnataka assembly elections is scheduled on May 10 and the votes will be counted on May 13. All the candidates have already filed their nominations and the parties have already scheduled roadshows of their star campaingers.
