Registering and licensing authority to launch app

Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA), UT ,is making an attempt at making the best use of technology so as to make their services more convenient and accessible to the public.

Authorities have plans to come up with an RLA mobile app by the end of this month, through which the public will be able to access required information without much effort.

The app will include detailed information about the functioning of the RLA. It will include all the necessary links for public information, including information on licensing process, availability of high security number series, etc.

The idea behind the move is to streamline the functioning of RLA and hassle-free services. According to officials, the IT department has offered to make the mobile app for them, which would be launched soon.

"We were approached by the IT department for designing the app, to which we have given the nod. The work has already commenced and we will be able to make the app available for the public soon," said Kashish Mittal, Registration and Licensing Authority.

Mittal further added, "The idea is just to make our services more convenient for public and our own people as well."
