Posting a comment on social networking website, Facebook, Vikram questioned the rise of Jain, saying he wondered how a newspaper vendor managed to buy a 2-kanal house in Chandigarh. Vikram runs an advertising company in Chandigarh.

"Jain has hit me and my uncle (Pawan Kumar Bansal) to meet his political ends. Every word uttered by him against me and my father-like uncle will be answered. I am not a politician and live like a commoner, but Jain has made me important," Vikram's Facebook post read.

"My uncle is strong and enjoys the confidence of voters. We are proud of him. I want to write because today my heart cried with pain. I am deeply hurt," he said.

"My grandfather had cars when four-wheelers were a rarity in India. We are humble and don't flaunt. I know what I am writing here will go to him. Jain did not know the difference between a partner, director and independent director of a company," Vikram posted.

On May 3, the Delhi CBI had arrested Vijay Singla allegedly for taking a bribe of Rs 90 lakh.

Jain questions Bansal's silence
Senior BJP leader Satya Pal Jain said he was amused to see the sense of frustration among the members of the extended family of union railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal. "I do not get provoked by false allegations and it would have been better if Bansal himself had reacted to my questions raised in a press conference on Sunday," Jain said. He said it was strange that despite so many allegations against him, the railway minister was silent.

It is a conspiracy: Madhu Bansal
Three days after railway minister's nephew was caught taking Rs 90 lakh in bribe, Madhu Bansal ,wife of Pawan Kumar Bansal, said it was a conspiracy and everybody was aware of the clean image of the her husband. She denied having any business relations with Singla and said, "We are not responsible for what he does. All I have it say is that wait and watch; truth will prevail my husband will come out clean."
