On Wednesday, Bajwa had said he will join the first official ‘jatha’ to Kartarpur only if former prime minister Manmohan Singh leads it.
“I will only be part of a jatha led by a god-fearing and truthful leader like former PM Manmohan Singh. If the CM leads, I will rather go to Kartarpur in my individual capacity as a humble Sikh,” Bajwa had said in New Delhi.
On Pakistan extending invitation to his former cabinet colleague Navjot Singh Sidhu to Kartarpur on the opening of the corridor, the CM said it’s better to ask the question from him (Sidhu) whether if he wants to go there or not.
