One of its major features is to set up a platform that would not require users to use multiple delivery apps, making for a much easier and hassle-free experience for all concerned.

In effect, ONDC turns into a middleman that brings buyers and sellers together and there are many similarities with the features found on the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) mobile payment system. By using this system, people can make payments no matter which payment app they are using.
