Vidya’s role in the film will be a light-hearted one, contrasting her intense performance in Begum Jaan. The actor also had voice modulation training for her role, and a source reveals that the actor has been inundated with offers from several radio stations to host shows.

“Vidya has already been approached by several radio stations to come and host a special show for them. She has finished shooting for the film, but she feels it’s a great idea to actually host radio shows, especially during the film’s promotions. In fact, Vidya has shown interest in some of the offers and will decide which show she would like to host once the film’s promotions begin,” the source says.

Vidya says, “Being an RJ is fun. Firstly, because I love to talk (laughs), and secondly, because I am quite familiar with the space, as I played a radio jockey in in Lage Raho Munna Bhai.”
