Udta Punjab: Watch Diljit Dosanjh as tough cop Sartaj Singh

Watch out for the new cop in town. He is none other than Sartaj Singh aka Ambarsariya famed Diljit Dosanjh. As a treat to his fans on Baisakhi, this Punjabi superstar has come up with his first look from his Bollywood debut Udta Punjab.

The 32-year-old star took to Twitter to share the motion-picture of his look and wrote alongside, “Baat Apki Aur Meri Nhi Hai. Yeh Baat Hai PUNJAB Ki #SartajSingh #UdtaPunjab http://bit.ly/UdtaDiljit @balajimotionpic @FuhSePhantom.”

The Abhishek Chaubey directed film also stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Shahid, yesterday took to his Twitter handle to release his ‘desi rockstar’ look, Tommy Singh, from the movie.

Udta Punjab revolves around the subject of drug addiction, which has become a serious issue in the Indian state of Punjab in recent years.
