Tiger Shroff gets a release date for Student of The Year 2, November 23

The makers of Student of The Year 2, Dharma Productions, have shared a new poster of the Tiger Shroff-starrer and unveiled the release date for the film. A sequel to the debut film of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, Student of the Year 2 will hit theatres on November 23.

Sharing the news on Twitter, filmmaker Karan Johar wrote, “SOTY 2 will release worldwide on the 23rd of NOVEMBER 2018! The two new leading ladies will be announced next month! The franchise forges ahead under the baton of director @punitdmalhotra ...@foxstarhindi @apoorvamehta18 @iTIGERSHROFF.”

Punit Malhotra will take over from Johar as director. Johar will produce through his Dharma Productions banner.

The female lead of the film will be announced next month. Previously, everyone from Sara Ali Khan to Disha Patani to Ananya Panday have been mentioned for the film’s lead in the rumours mills. Sara has since signed on to Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. It will mark her Bollywood debut.

The 2012 romantic comedy made Rs 70 crore at the box office.
