It was a trend in the 90’s and 2000’s before it died down. But thanks to a spat of music videos starring Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor in Dheere Dheere, the trend is back in vogue.

Remember Govinda in Lift Karadey or Rani Mukerji in Tera Chehra? These music videos were a rage then, now the current lot of the industry, too, has taken a fancy to star in music videos. Be it Sooraj Pancholi, Jacqueline Fernandez in GF BF, Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor in Dheere Dheere, or Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta’s Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, these videos have been a hit with the masses.

Dheere Dheere, starring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, has been directed by director Ahmed Khan.
