Salman Khan dismisses backlash against Race 3 trailer, redefines trolling
Salman Khan believes that people who have one or two followers don’t qualify to be called trolls. He was replying to a question regarding the backlash against the Race 3 trailer.
Salman Khan was his dismissive best when he was asked about the backlash the trailer of his upcoming film, Race 3, has received. At the launch of the third season of his TV reality show, Dus Ka Dum, he was asked about the Race 3 trailer being trolled, to which he replied that those with only a few followers on social media didn’t qualify to be called trolls.

The Race 3 trailer, which came out on May 15, was heavily trolled with many memes being made on it and its dialogues.
At the launch, a miffed Salman replied to the journalist’s question by asking him, “Are you trolling it?” When the journalist replied that many people were, Salman had a unique answer. He said, “Those guys with one or two followers? That’s trolling? Who’s controlling that trolling, you know? No? How sad. When guys with one, two, three, four followers troll, it isn’t trolling.”
During the course of the event, Salman also lightly referred to film’s then upcoming song, Selfish. Joking about it, he said, “Hello, Hi, How are you?” before commenting, “This song is also written by me. It hasn’t been released. It will be released soon and then get trolled.”
Incidentally, the song has become the new ‘favourite’ of trolls on Twitter. What’s more, it has been sung by his rumoured girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, along with Atif Aslam.
Dus Ka Dum is back on Indian TV after a gap of nine years. It was the current Bigg Boss host’s very first show on TV.
