Purab Kohli learns Punjabi for new TV show. On Skype

Purab Kohli is a busy man. The actor, who will be seen in the sequel to Rock On!!! (2008) recently returned from Italy after shooting for the second season of an international web-TV series. He will soon start shooting for his next project, a television show that is being directed by Nikhil Advani.

For his TV show, Purab needs to learn how to speak in Punjabi, as he plays the role of a Punjabi prisoner. Since he doesn’t have the time to take classes, with a tutor present to teach him the language, the actor has decided to use Skype for the same.

“I want to learn some Punjabi before I begin the show. With the amount of travel I have been doing (to meet his family in London and for work), it might be best to take a class over Skype or online, as suggested by one of my friends. It’s great that technology allows this in today’s day and age, and I may just consider taking online lessons through May to make my life easier,” says Purab.
