Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan fight, scream, slap, annoy and steal in the first trailer for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Patakha.

Vishal Bharadwaj’s new film is a hilarious comedy about two sisters who would rather be enemies. Patakha stars Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan in lead roles as the human embodiment of India and Pakistan.

Badki and Chutki live in a village in Rajasthan with their father, played by Vijay Raaj. The film shows how the two sisters engage in mutual fights, unrest, confusion, quarrel, and how they flirt with boys. However, when an inadvertent wedding finally separates them, they still find their way back to each other.

The trailer, while it does give a good look at the flavour of the film, it also more or less shows us the entire movie in three minutes. The context, the problem and the climax have all been rammed in without any attempt at keeping anything a secret.

Pataakha is based on an acclaimed short story by renowned writer Charan Singh Pathik. Also starring Sunil Grover, the movie is all set to hit the big screens on September 28.
