Patakha posters: Meet Sanya Malhotra, Radhika Madaan and a firecracker of a film. See photos
Vishal Bharadwaj introduces the characters of his upcoming film, Patakha, portrayed by Sanya Malhotra, Radhika Madaan, Sunil Grover and others.
Vishal Bharadwaj’s Patakha happens to be a much-anticipated film starring Radhika Madaan, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles. The director shared the first look posters of his lead actors, who look intriguing and seeped in their surroundings. He also revealed the release date of the trailer as August 15.

Each character has been introduced with a couplet about them. Sanya Malhotra looks stunning with a rifle in one hand and a ‘ghoongat’ covering her head. The actor looks completely different from her debut film, Dangal.
The couplet about Sanya read, “Small firecracker, big explosion; war begins on August 15.” Next the director introduced us to Radhika Mohan, who plays the role of Champa. Her introduction read, “By name, she is champa (soft and sweet natured flower), but by work she is a firecracker. A big explosion awaits on August 15.
Saanand Varma’s introduction was the funniest of all. The actor plays the role of Tharky Patel. “His gaze doesn’t waver away from Bapu’s daughters, and this man’s intentions have a h*rny twist.”
Vijay Raaz plays the role of Bapu who is probably the only one who can stop the war. To know if he does, audiences have to wait to watch the trailer on August 15.
Actor Sunil Grover also plays a pivotal role in this Vishal Bhardwaj directorial. His character’s name is Dipper Naradmuni and he is expected to create chaos, true to the character of his namesake.
The film is about two sparring sisters and is based on a short story by Charan Singh Pathik, titled Do Behnein.
