My ideal weekend: Dino Morea

idea of a good weekend. Just don’t call him about work while he’s relaxing

Q) Dine out, order in, or cook a meal on weekends?

It is either dine out or order in.

Q) Can: cook a five-course meal/a sandwich/boil water/don’t know how the gas works.

Can make a great sandwich, boil water and change cylinders.

Q) On weekends: work out like it’s just another day/go easy/exercise…what’s that?

On weekends, go easy, real easy, slow, calm... Unless, I have a football match to play.

Q) Strictly salads and grilled chicken, or cheese/chocolate cheat for the weekend?

Chocolates, cake and the bakery for the weekend.

Q) Where I party.

I party at the Elbo Room (Khar West).

Q) Where I love getting breakfast and my go-to order.

I enjoy the eggs benedict at Indigo, Bandra.

Q) Tea or coffee?

Mornings are for tea, and evenings for coffee.

Q) Some complicated Iced Frappe person or straight up espresso person?

Neither.

Q) Cosmopolitan or whisky on the rocks?

Whisky on the rocks.

Q) Street food that makes my day.

Sev Puri and other puris. Also, there is a dosa guy in Khar (W), who I often visit and is off the charts.

Q) Party till dawn or wake up for yoga at dawn?

If I am out partying, I end up watching the people doing yoga on my way home. If it’s an early night, it could be yoga at dawn, why not?

Q) Books, music or movies?

A bit of all. It depends on my mood.

Q) Couch potato or painting the town red?

I love my couch.

Q) Flip-flops or converse shoes on Sunday?

Converse, for sure.

Q) A movie/book I’ve been meaning to catch up on.

Book: Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World (by Jack Weatherford). As for films, I am yet to watch Spectre and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Part 2).

Q) A TV show you could watch reruns of all Sunday.

At the moment, Narcos.

Outdoor sports, any day.

A day well spent by the pool or on a beach, with a great massage.

A work call in the midst of my massage.
