MS Dhoni new poster: Do you know this man?

Talk of perfect timing and this one takes the cake. Even as the Indian cricket team is getting ready to start its campaign in the T20 World Cup, director Neeraj Pandey released the first poster of his biopic on MS Dhoni, played by Sushant Singh Rajput, on Wednesday. Needless to say, given the buzz around cricket, the poster is already a hit.

The poster shows Rajput at a railway station, and it is captioned: “The man you know, the journey you don’t.” Dhoni’s fans will know that the superstar of Indian cricket was a TTE before becoming a professional cricketer. Pandey’s film is expected to shed light on Dhoni’s life, since not much is known about him before he shot to international stardom.

The buzz is that Rajput trained with former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran More for a year to get the right looks, and even mannerisms, for his role in the biopic.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, has been shot extensively in Ranchi, and it also features veteran actor Anupam Kher and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
