Mouni Roy says she is the only villain of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra

For a film that is so talked about all the time, we know way too little about Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. What is the plot? Who will play what? The makers have revealed next to nothing.

However, cast member Mouni Roy is here to drop a few hints. She revealed in a recent interview to Mumbai Mirror that it is indeed her who will play the villain in the film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. “While I can’t reveal much about my character, I can say that I am the only villain of the Ranbir film,” she said.

Mouni also revealed how Alia and Ranbir have a great chemistry in the film and how excited she was to work with Amitabh Bachchan in the film. “It was surreal. I was like this little puppy who was just excited to see him and didn’t know what to do and after giving a shot with him I could have happily died. Who would have imagined that a girl from Cooch Behar would be sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan,” she said.

Not just Brahmastra, Mouni will soon be making her big Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold on August 17. She will play Akshay’s disappointed Bengali wife in the film which also stars Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor and Vineet Singh.

Mouni will also be seen opposite John Abraham in Robby Grewal’s RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter and with Rajkummar Rao in Made in China.
