Our source reveals, “Irrfan was always concerned about the child’s safety, he took special care of him while shooting in Rajasthan for the song Masoom Sa. The song was shot in the desert with extremely difficult shooting conditions. There were barely any amenities available to the crew and they had to shoot in very high temperatures. Irrfan who is a father in real life, instinctively took care of the child artist throughout the shoot. He took special care to keep him hydrated, looked into his meals, rushed him to a shade at regular intervals.

Irrfan says, “I have two sons and this came instinctively to me. I wish I could give him pizzas in the desert, kulfi in the lanes of Jaipur, jalebis on the highway, but in the extreme conditions we could not do all that. The child is adorable and it was fun working with him.”

The film’s release was pushed by a week when filmmaker Indra Kumar’s Great Grand Masti was leaked online even before its release. To avoid further damage to the Kumar’s film, the makers of Madaari decided to move the social thriller by a week and give their date to GGM and release their film on 22 July.
