Loveratri trailer: Aayush Sharma, Warina Hussain and a need for a Salman Khan cameo. Watch video
Loveratri trailer has Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain, two warring dads, two brothers of Salman Khan and more colour than you are allowed to see without shades on.
Indian cinema has a formula when it comes to launching new faces -- begin with fresh-as-daisy love story, add the poor-rich angle and then make the youngsters rebel. Loveratri trailer, starring Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma with newcomer Warina Husain, has decided to walk the tried-and-tested line. So Aayush is the never-do-good garba teacher and Warina plays the desi living abroad who is in Gujarat to celebrate Navratri.
They dance and they sing. She also hits Aayush with her garba sticks which appears to be the beginning of a beautiful romance.
Seize your chance, dad Ram Kapoor tells Aayush, and live and love for those nine days. So, Navratri becomes Loveratri and then nine days get over. So, obviously our hero follows Warina to London and meets her rich dad who is having none of it. Aayush lands in jail where he meets Gujarati spouting Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, playing cops.
In between all of this, we see enough colour to fuel a LSD-fuelled day dream. We are hoping Salman Khan is also going to make an appearance in the film.

After the Loveratri trailer launch in Mumbai, the trailer will be released in Delhi today evening and multiple theatres in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Indore, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Baroda will be joining the proceedings through a Facebook Live.

Talking about how Salman Khan prepared him for Loveratri and the film industry, Aayush told IANS earlier, “He told me, ‘Remember, the fame of being an actor is very good, but it’s not good when your film doesn’t work because then you are subject to a lot of conversation that this film didn’t work and he is not a good actor.’ He motivated me to be a 100% ready when I do my first film.”
The film is the directorial debut of Abhiraj Minawala as well as Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. Loveratri has been written by Niren Bhatt and will hit the theatres coinciding with the Navratri festival on October 5.
