‘Housefull 2 is going to be huge’

No star can opt out of Housefull 2 because today’s actors are smart and they know my film is going to be huge,” says director Sajid Khan.

Of late, reports of Deepika Padukone having walked out of Housefull 2 due to her signing on the Rajnikanth-starrer Raana, have been rife. But Khan denies any such news: “Deepika wasn’t even offered the film. Also, contrary to reports, I haven’t approached Amitabh Bachchan or Sonakshi (Sinha) either.”

However, Asin continues to be a part of the film, despite reports suggesting that she is opting out, as she too has been offered a role in Raana.

The Heyy Babyy director claims his new film is going to “bigger” than Housefull. “I have a fantastic script with me. My film is a big brand today. For the time being, I am only concentrating on the screenplay,” says Khan, before adding that he still needs to cast two more female actors for the film.
