Govinda back on TV after 14 Years
Govinda will replace choreographer Remo D’Souza, who is busy with his film ABCD 2 starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.
Bollywood superstar Govinda will be back on the small screen after 14 years. The Kill Dill actor, who was last seen on television as a host on Jeeto Chappar Phaad Ke (2001), will turn judge for the first time on a dance reality show.

Govinda will join ace choreographers and veteran reality show judges Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis in judging the second season of Dance India Dance Super Moms. Talking about his comeback, Chi Chi says, “I had become so choosy that there was nothing left to choose from. Now that I have decided to come back, I am taking up anything promising that is coming my way, be it films or TV. I want to be how I was in the beginning of my career and work hard.”
So, why a dance show for his comeback? “Mothers represent strength and I am sure they are going to rock on the show. I’ve just shot one audition episode and I’m floored by the sheer range of talent and the reasons that motivate these mothers to dance,” he says.
Govinda will replace choreographer Remo D’Souza, who is busy with his film ABCD 2 starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.

The actor had joined the Congress and was elected as an MP for the Mumbai North Constituency of Maharashtra, in the Lok Sabha elections in 2004, after defeating Ram Naik of the BJP. In 2009, he took a break from politics to concentrate on his films.
