Gauri Khan shares a candid pic of Shah Rukh Khan with son AbRam

Actor Shah Rukh Khan and son AbRam are back in headlines for their bonhomie. The father-son duo just returned from London and were spotted at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday. Now, Gauri Khan welcomed them home with a new photo on her Instagram handle.

Gauri shared the photo of SRK and AbRam, and captioned it, “Courchevel. The winter playground.” The picture seems to have been clicked at the French ski-resort and shows the two sporting headgears and shrugs similar to those used by the leaders of the Native American tribes.

While most of their fans called the pictures “cute” and “lovely”, some users also raised eyebrows for their cultural appropriation. A user commented on the post, “Bollywood really needs to learn another cultures symbols and practices arent for our aesthetics.” Another user asked, “Yo, ain’t nobody understand cultural appropriation?”

A few days ago, Simmba actor Sara Ali Khan was called out for cultural appropriation as she posed alongside a Masai tribeman jumping especially for the camera. The social media users was criticised for using the tribesman as a prop for her Filmfare photo shoot.

Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor also faced the wrath of the internet users for sporting a Native American headgear on the Dabboo Ratnani calender.

On the work front, Shah Rukh is yet to announce his next project after Saare Jahan Se Achcha writer confirmed his exit from the film. He was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, which failed to perform at the box office.
