Can never be as good as my father Shakti Kapoor: Shraddha

Though Shraddha Kapoor has been part of various big projects in her five-year-long career in Bollywood, the actor feels that it’s impossible for her to reach the level of stardom that her father, Shakti Kapoor, has attained.

“It will take me many lifetimes to reach where he is. He has done over 700 films. And more importantly, he is ‘Shakti Kapoor’. His popularity is amazing. He has made a unique name and identity for himself,” says Shraddha.

The 26-year-old actor, who will next be seen in the sequel to the Farhan Akhtar-starrer, Rock On!! (2008), says her father is her source of encouragement and inspiration.

“He inspires me every day. While he believes in doing things now (in the present), I procrastinate. He always tells me to pull up my socks,” says Shraddha, adding, “His energy is off the charts. He exercises for hours every day. He is particular about what he eats, and looks after his health. I don’t think I will ever be as energetic as him.”
