AR Rahman takes Sanju to the ‘80s, listen to new song Ruby Ruby here

Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman’s track Ruby Ruby, for Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming biopic Sanju, has been released online. The film’s director Rajkummar Hirani shared the link of the track on his official Twitter account on Wednesday.

“And here is the song composed by AR Rahman and written by Irshad Kamil for Sanju song Ruby Ruby,” Hirani tweeted along with a poster look of the track where Ranbir, who essays Sanjay in the film, is holding the guitar.

Laced with all the elements of 1980s’ music, the track has been sung by Shashwat Singh and Poorvi Koutish.

Anushka Sharma may essay the role of a lawyer in the film while Manisha Koirala and Paresh Rawal will play Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt respectively. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Jim Sarbh and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Sonam Kapoor may be essaying the role of Tina Munim in the film.. The film is set to release on June 29.
