Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan are true foodies at heart. The actors are eating tasty treats and enjoying life, while promoting their upcoming film, Sui Dhaaga - Made In India. Anushka and Varun love food so much that for their latest appearances on two television shows they will be seen cooking and eating some traditional Maharashtrian dishes. What better reward for a job well done than snacking on vada pao and delicious modaks?
On Tuesday, Anushka and Varun promoted Sui Dhaaga on popular reality singing show, Indian Idol — judged by music director Anu Malik and singers Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar — where Varun participated in what looked like a vada pav eating contest. Anushka and Varun’s love for food runs deep. The actors will be making an appearance on a special TV show Adbhut Ganesh Utsav. On the show, Anushka and Varun will sport their looks from Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, make modaks and perform a Ganesh aarti, reports DNA.
Varun and Anushka will be seen with TV actors like Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karishma Tanna. Urmila Matondkar, who took a break from the spotlight after her wedding with actor Mohsin Akhtar Mir in 2016, will be performing on the Pinga song from Bajirao Mastani on the five-day show that will premiere during the upcoming Ganesh festival, Mumbai Live reported. Ganesh Chaturthi falls on September 13.
