Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s store launch in Mumbai saw a host of Bollywood biggies attend. However, dominating the show were the Bachchans and Nandas. More details here.
What with their busy schedules and commitments, it is rare to see Amitabh Bachchan, wife Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda with husband Nikhil and daughter Navya Naveli coming together and posing for family photos. However, every time that happens, the photos go viral within minutes and fans are obsessing over them for days.
Something similar happened as Shweta launched her fashion brand, MxS World in Mumbai on Saturday. While Bollywood’s leading stars were in attendance, the focus was completely on the Bachchans and Nandas themselves. Amitabh, a proud papa, shared a photo on Instagram of the entire family, and wrote, “Proud of you Shweta and all those that put together #mxsworld.”
He shared another photo in which he is seen hugging Shweta and captioned it, “Love you Mama .. so proud of you.” Aishwarya also shared a photo in which husband Abhishek is seen wearing a shirt from Shweta’s brand and drew a heart emoticon.
Abhishek also posted a message for his sister on Instagram, “When you do something of your own and by your self, that’s a huge achievement. Well done Shwetdi for the launch of @mxsworld and congratulations @monishajaising. May MxS be the hugest success. So, so proud of you. Love you.”
The Bachchan family members who were not at the party were Aishwarya and Abhishek’s daughter Aaradhya, and Shweta and Nikhil’s son Agastya.
Amitabh had earlier penned down a poem for Shweta and granddaughter Navya Naveli, “Yeh garv hai mera, beti betiyaan jab ubhar kar aati hain, apne dum par kuch kar ke humein dikhaati hain, motiyon se piroyi hui yeh mala, aise karna gehna yeh anmol hai, isse surakshit rakhna. (I am proud that my daughters have found success on their own, they are like beads of a necklace; such jewels are precious, keep them safe).”
