All in the family for Shraddha Kapoor

While her veteran actor-father Shakti Kapoor is always there to give her tips when it comes to her movies, Shraddha Kapoor reveals that she also turns to her aunts Padmini and Tejaswini Kolhapure (sisters of Shraddha’s mother Shivangi) for advice.

“She (Padmini) saw Haider, and we discussed many things. She is a very honest critic. Actually, my entire family is very honest. If they like something, they will say it clearly, and if they don’t, they tell me what I should work on,” says the actor.

Ask Shraddha, who she considers her harshest critic, and the young actor promptly replies, “It has to be my youngest aunt, Tejaswini. I always want to know what she has to say and feels about my films. She has always been very blunt and honest. She will call a spade a spade, and I think that’s a beautiful quality.”

Coming to her upcoming projects, even though she has had two back-to-back hits — Ek Villain and Haider, she is still not on a signing spree. “Well, a dance film is next. Phir dekhtein hain (then we will see). There are a couple of offers in the pipeline,” says Shraddha.

She adds that for her, making choices is all about following her heart. “Till the time, I don’t get that voice from within; I wait for the right opportunity. But I want to do lots of films,” she says.
