Aishwarya Rai is the ‘honey’ in this ‘honeymoon’ pic Abhishek Bachchan shared to mark their 12th wedding anniversary

Actor Abhishek Bachchan has shared a special picture of his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to commemorate their 12th wedding anniversary on Saturday. Aishwarya, too posted a picture with her husband on Instagram. The couple is currently in the Maldives.

Sharing a new picture, Abhishek wrote, “Honey and the moon. @niyamamaldives #niyamamaldives #edge.” In the image, a gorgeous looking Aishwarya is seen staring at something as the moon shines in the background. She is wearing a dark blue gown, paired with a statement necklace and the hair tied in a top knot completes the elegant look.

Aishwarya shared a picture that Aaradhya took showing Abhishek hugging the Jazbaa actor. “❤️Our Togetherness🥰captured by The Divine Light of Our Lives 😍LOVE YOU AARADHYA,” she wrote.

Aishwarya and Abhishek met 20 years ago and worked together in films such as Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (2000), Kuch Naa Kaho (2003) and Guru (2007). The two got engaged in 2007 and were married in a private ceremony at Amitabh Bachchan residence, Jalsa, in Mumbai. They were blessed with a daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011.

Speaking during an interview with Famously Filmfare earlier this year, Aishwarya talked about arguments in her marriage and said, “We’re both genetically very generously been given very strong genes. So, we’re inherently very strong personalities. I think there is a very fine line between arguing and discussing and that’s something we’re still arriving at discovering what is what. So, we discuss a lot, either politely put it as discuss, probably argue but…”

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan alongside Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, while Abhishek made his return to films after two years in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan, opposite Taapsee Pannu.
