UP to regulate flower business in Ayodhya, traders apprehensive

The state government has brought the wholesale flower business under the ambit of agriculture produce marketing law there. Although some of those associated with the trade feel the flower business has witnessed only a marginal growth, there are indications that the trade has grown 20 to 25 percent following consecration of Ram Lala’s idol and inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2023.

Don’t use social media to flaunt your work, U.P. bureaucrats told

There have been instances of use of social media for purposes that raised eyebrows of the authorities and invited action, though on many occasions certain comments/posts went unnoticed. Congress to soon take a call on its claim for assembly by-poll seats

“We will sit together this week and discuss which seats will be right for the Congress to contest in the by-election. The Congress and the SP will contest the by-poll in alliance with each other,” said Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) president Ajay Rai on Wednesday.
