Google Doodle celebrates Assamese multi-talented composer Bhupen Hazarika

Bhupen Hazarika was an acclaimed poet, singer, music composer and filmmaker. He won the National Award for best music direction in 1975, and Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1992, among several accolades. He was posthumously awarded Padma Vibhushan in 2012, and Bharat Ratna in 2019.

In 2021, over 45K women died by suicide in India, 23,000 of them are housewives

The report found that Tamil Nadu (3,221) accounted for the most number of suicides among housewives, followed by Madhya Pradesh (3,055), and Maharashtra (2,861).
