Traffic violations by e-rickshaws see spike in Delhi: Cops

Delhi's electric-rickshaws have seen a significant increase in traffic violations this year, with a 53% spike in infractions compared to last year, according to Delhi Traffic Police data. The most notable increase in violations was obstructive or improper parking, with 70,463 offences registered this year compared to 35,828 in 2022 and 19,357 in 2021. The Delhi transport department prohibited the plying and parking of e-rickshaws on 236 roads in the city last year.
