Migrants paint school that gave them shelter

The migrants became restless when the lockdown imposed to check the Covid-19 pandemic was extended until May 3. Very rarely had they done no work for 15 days.

Covid-19: Rajasthan stops rapid antibody tests, seeks guidance from ICMR

Rajasthan was the first state in the country to start rapid antibody tests for Covid-19 after it received 10,000 kits for carrying out such testing. On the same day, 52 people were tested using the kits and all the results were negative.

Covid-19: Three die in Jaipur, Rajasthan’s death toll mounts to 21

On Saturday, 122 new cases were reported, taking the state’s tally of Covid-19 patients to 1,351. So far, 200 patients have been cured and 93 of them discharged from hospital.

Inside Jaipur’s Covid-19 ward for kids

The hospital’s CT ward has been converted into a paediatric unit for Covid-19 patients. It has 27 beds, including five semi-intensive care unit (ICU) facilities.

When Rajasthan’s Pali made reusable PPE kits from umbrella fabric

Until April 10, when Pali had two Covid-19 patients, the district had locally produced 2,500 PPE kits and supplied many to neighbouring districts, too.

According to a health ministry official, Rajasthan has been allocated 16,500 PPEs. Although health minister Raghu Sharma has repeatedly said there was no shortage, but supply to the districts wasn’t enough.(AP)
