No new admissions to primary classes in Schools of Excellence: Delhi govt

In 2018, the Delhi government started six Schools of Excellence across the city which are supposed to be model, resource-rich English-medium schools. Before the pandemic struck, the schools conducted admissions to classes 9 and 11 through entrance tests and conducted regular admissions for Nursery to Class 2.

Mission Buniyaad programme: Parents to turn teachers, take classes at home

Mission Buniyaad, was launched by the Delhi government in April of 2018, as a scheme to help ensure that all children of Class 3 to Class 8 are able to at least read, write and do basic maths.

Delhi’s first Partition Museum likely to be ready by August this year

The museum will be set up at the Dara Shikoh Library Building in Kashmere Gate and will be managed by The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust (TACHT), which has the experience of having set up a similar museum in Amritsar.

The heritage site will also be developed as a cultural hub.

Govt to provide means to 2,300 special kids to pursue their dreams

The Inclusive Education branch of the Directorate of Education has identified around 2,300 Children With Special Needs (CWSN) in government schools who will be encouraged to pursue extra-curricular activities as per their “skills, merits, and abilities”.
