After girl’s rescue, authorities set sight on dubious past of Mumtaz Yatimkhana

GBC grand stage comes up in Lucknow made of 48 shipping containers

Around 50 cargo shipping containers are being used to create the stage for the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony in Uttar Pradesh, India, where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest. The containers are being arranged to create several entry and exit points and will also be used as screens to display 3D audio-visuals. Over 40 artists and 500 people are working on painting murals on the containers. The structure will have a height of 15 meters and a seating capacity of over 2,400 guests.

Ram temple , Panchvati replicas major attraction at Kisan Mela

The CSIR-NBRI set up its Ram temple made of 70 kg flowers while the CSIR-CIMAP set up a replica of Panchvati that drew a large crowd for selfies and photos. The Panchvati replica showcased the institute’s five medicinal and herbal plants, as well as Ram cutouts, monkey and deer cutouts and a scene from the jungle portraying Ram’s 14-year exile.
